Painter. Muralist. Public Artist.

Welcome! I’m Katie Curcio, a Colorado-based painter and muralist inspired by the natural world, community stories, and the transformative power of public art.

My work ranges from large-scale public murals to studio paintings and custom commissions, as well as live painting at events. Whether on a wall, canvas, or in the moment, my work celebrates regional wildlife, seasonal landscapes, and the vibrant reflections of the communities I work with.

“Colorado artist Katie Curcio is turning a blank wall into a love letter to Estes Park at the Misty Mountain Lodge near downtown.”

“The mural is designed not only to beautify the building, but also to create a visual landmark that celebrates the community and its relationship with the surrounding landscape.”

-Patti Brown, Estes Valley Voice

“Curcio created a one-of-a-kind design that weaves together the sugar beet industry, the significance of the railroad, and the individuals who helped build Windsor.”

“Located in the Depot’s entry room, the mural highlights the central roles of the railroad, agriculture, and the people who shaped the Windsor community.”

-Caitlin Heusser, Town of Windsor Parks, Recreation, and Culture
